After acquiring the accumulated secrets/intelligence from 2 royal families, distinguished for their success in the field of beauty, Dr. Pearl always has great passion and enthusiasm to share her insight and help those that strive for beauty.   Dr. Pearl loves to inform and educate people of the aspects of maintaining your natural beauty.  For example, Dr. Pearl always stresses that the skin is not only the integument or outer covering of the vertebrate body, (composed of two major layers, the epidermis and the dermis), but that the skin also has a close relationship with internal organs individually and as a system.

This is Dr. Pearl’s unique Oriental beauty care intelligence.
This is the backbone of Beauty Care at Dr. Pearl Youth and Beauty Institute.

The next step is to Identify the cause(s) of a skin problem, this is a very important part in Dr. Pearl's practice.
The cause(s) of a skin problem itself is (are) to be found in a person’s dietary habits, life-style, sports, long-term living conditions and even mind and spiritual health.

This is the secret of her skin success at Dr. Pearl Youth and Beauty Institute.

The third step is to set up an achievable program with the customer after she has identified the cause(s) of a skin problem. Otherwise it will not be possible to advise her customer on specific changes to meet their aesthetic goals.

This is Dr. Pearl’s key point of success in her career of beauty care.

“A good beauty care is given 60-70% for inside and 30- 40% for outside.”

According to Dr. Pearl’s unique knowledge and experience, the human body is an integrated organic mechanism and not many divided pieces assembled together.

There are 4 factors which directly effect the health and beauty of the skin and also to the whole body.

1) 5 biological organ systems:

A. The Heart System: The Heart System is closely related to the face. If the energy of the Heart System is vigorous, the blood circulation is running well, the complexion on the face must be shining and bright. If not, the face looks pale and bad.

B. The Kidney System: The Kidney System is closely related to the ears and hair. If the energy in the Kidney System is plenty enough, two ears must be big and thick, and the hair and beard are exuberant and beautiful; if not, the color of the hair and beard is changed to gray and they get fewer. This problem may manifest for women as acne around her chin and neck and/or age spots on her face.

C. The Liver System: The Liver System is related to the eyes and the nails. It is in charge of metabolism. If the Liver System is healthy, the eyes are bright with energy and the nails are strong and healthy.

D. The Lung System: The Lung System is related to the body hair, which may be abundant or few.

E. The Spleen System: The Spleen System is related to whole body muscle tone, the smell of the body, the armpit or the mouth, wrinkles on the face...etc.

2) Emotions: Different bad emotions ( internal pathogens ) effect different systems and peripherals
A. Joy: related to the Heart System
B. Anger: related to the Liver System
C. Worry: related to the Spleen System
D. Concern: related to the Spleen system
E. Sadness: related to the Lung System
F. Fear: related to the Kidney System
G. Frightening: related to the Kidney system

If emotion is higher than normal , it may cause different Organ System diseases or hurt health and beauty, because such circumstances throws off the body's balance. Therefore, when expecting to gain real youth and beauty, emotion has to be well balanced and strictly controlled.

3) External pathogens:

A. Wind: Medical Classics says : “ The Wind is the starter of diseases.” The scientific analysis shows that in the wind (air with high pressure), there are viruses, fungi, bacteria, mites, parasites, dust, harmful chemicals…..etc. And cause problems on the skin.

B. Cold: The Cold may cause energy and the blood to become stagnated and coagulated. Chilblain on fingers, hands, toes, feet, ears, and face is a typical disease from the Cold.

C. Dampness: Dampness refers not only to damp weather , but also to damp living conditions, such as living or working in beach cities, wading in water or sitting on damp ground.

D. Dryness: It arises in very dry weather or occurs in some artificial conditions such as living in a space with central heated system or sitting under the heavy sunshine to get sun tan or playing sports outdoors under the sun. Dryness may cause skin wrinkled or hair off.

E. Fire: It is an extreme form of Heat. It dries out more than Heat. Fire moves upwards causing mouth ulcers or damages the blood vessels.

Acne and freckles are related to the damage of the capillaries on the face.

Skin cancer is a severe damage to the skin by sun Fire.

4) Diet factors: There are 5 main tastes in foods which effect organs and Organ Systems.
If one over consumes a single taste or tastes, such as sweet and sour chicken, or hot spicy sauce, or sweet chocolates, or salty pickles or bitter coffee… it (they) will badly interfere with the balance of organs and hurt one’s beauty.

A. Over consuming sour foods: It may cause skin wrinkled,
B. Over consuming bitter foods: It may cause skin emaciated without luster,
C. Over consuming sweets: It may cause skin darkening and hair falling off,
D. Over consuming spicy foods: It may cause nail dryness,
E. Over consuming salty foods: it may cause the change of one's normal complexion.

Harmonizing 5 tastes carefully in your meal is the Oriental diet wisdom.
