Professional History & Educational Background

1950 to 1958 Studied Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture under Dr. Jie Hwa Ding, the grandson of Dr. Gan Ren Ding, the royal physician of the Ching Dynasty, and Dr. Hwai Xuan Zhu, chief director of the natural medical department at Xu Hui Hospital in Shanghai, China.

1956 to 1960 Attended Zhe Jiang University medical school in China.

1960 to 1965 Attended the Shanghai Normal University and majored in chemistry. During those years, Dr. Timothy Yeh learned about the natural perfume and cosmetics industry from perfume engineers Ru Yu Yeh (his father) and Xin Non Yeh (his uncle). He also worked at the Shanghai Children’s Hospital, practicing both modern and natural medicine.

1961 Passed the Shanghai Natural Medicine Municipal Board Test.

1962 to 1964 Instructor of acupuncture and natural medicine at the Shanghai Children’s Hospital School of Nursing, in Shanghai, China.

1978 Dr. Timothy Yeh and his brother, Professor Y.L. Yeh, became the first in China to develop natural medicine computer programs, and receive national recognition. Dr. Yeh was then offered a position to be the chief director of the Medical Computer Diagnostic Department at the Second People’s Hospital in Canton.

1972 to 1979 Worked at the Department of Pediatrics at Wu Yi District Hospital in Shanghai, China.

1981 Received L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist) from the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.

1981 to 1983 Co-Founder of Yeh Center of Natural Medicine, in Overland Park, Kansas, and Dr. Yeh gave seminars to medical professionals.

1983 to present Co-Founder of Yeh Center of Natural Medicine, Inc. in Downtown Upland, California.

1984 Received his Ph.D. in acupuncture from the University of Oriental Studies in Los Angeles, California. Received an honorary D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) from the Alternative Medicine Board of Sri Lanka (Ceylon).

1985 Received O.M.D. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine) degree from the California Acupuncture College.

1997 to present Co-Founder of Natural Medicine International in Downtown Upland, California.
