The following is a brief description of the main treatments used in natural medicine.
Acupuncture
Your health and well-being can be greatly improved through the proper administration of acupuncture, because it is a safe and natural method of treatment for many common ailments.
Acupuncture is a form of medical therapy that involves inserting thin, smooth tip, solid needles into selective sites on the surface of the body. It has been part of Chinese medicine since ancient times. Outside China, acupuncture was long used in overseas Chinese communities, but Western interest in it did not become widespread until the 1970’s, when physicians in China demonstrated that it could be used to control surgical pain.
Micro-Circulation Treatment
Yeh Micro-Circulation Treatment (YMCT) was developed by Drs. Timothy and Pearl Yeh, based on over 50 years of knowledge and experience in the medical field. YMCT was founded upon traditional natural medicine principles, and the theories are closely related to acupuncture – only NO NEEDLES ARE INVOLVED!
This form of treatment caters to patients who are sensitive to needles, have a weak constitution, or want to improve circulation. The technique involves negative pressure to open blockages and allow smooth circulation, electro-acupuncture, acupressure, and moxibustion (when needed).
YMCT targets the micro-circulatory system, which is in charge of distributing blood, nutrients, body fluids and lymph to muscles, joints, bones, tissue and organs. This treatment is especially beneficial for paralysis, stroke prevention, stroke recovery, numbness, aches and pain, muscle spasm, hypertension, high cholesterol, immune and autoimmune disorders, bone system disorders, reproductive system disorders and weak constitution patients.
Aromatherapy
In China during the 1930’s, the Yeh family originated the entire natural perfume industry. The development began in Shanghai, China when three brothers Xin Nong Yeh, Ru Yu Yeh, and Zhong Tao Yeh, who were herbal pharmacologists, perfumists, engineers, and chemists, researched natural perfume. They raised the natural perfume industry to a very high scientific level and established the foundation for the entire perfume industry in China today.
As a result of their studies and research, recent Chinese production of oriental perfumes and essential oils have been widely welcomed by the entire world. Drs. Timothy and Pearl Yeh are presently continuing the tradition of aromatherapy in the United States.
Herbal Medicine
Drs. Timothy and Pearl Yeh prescribe herbal medicine for patients on an individual basis. They have mastered the use of classical herbal formulas, that have been handed down from the emperor’s royal physician of the Qin dynasty. Each person is different, every body’s needs are different, each illness is caused by different reasons, so the prescriptions vary with every patient. They are tailored for the individual and the herbs change throughout the course of treatment.
