For years, I have been kept awake by a creepy crawly feeling in my legs. Never really knew that it was something other people suffered from until I read an ad for some medicine for people with Restless Legs, which sounded like me. I would lie awake at night, moving my legs every time the feeling arose, which would then also wake up my husband. Often I would move into the guest bedroom, so at least he could sleep. It would get better towards morning, but I always awoke unrested.

In March, I read about an organization called the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation, where I learned that up to 15% of women develop the syndrome during pregnancy and that it also tends to run in families. I have since heard that my mother and other family members do indeed have the problem. Both men and women get the syndrome, which seems to worsen with age. There are no real medical cures for the syndrome, although medicines, like Dopamine (for Parkinson’s), have given some relief for a time, after which the symptoms increase (called “augmenting”).

I did not want to get caught up in a series of different chemicals that didn’t really work anyway, so I started adapting some of the other suggestions, like avoiding sugar, alcohol and caffeine. But then it occurred to me that this must be something that could be helped with acupuncture. Since I live in Upland, I had noticed the Yeh Center of Natural Medicine, and since I have used acupuncture previously, I was game to try.

After 3 months of treatment, I am almost completely free of symptoms. I have been asked to change my diet. I have been drinking Dr. Yeh’s specially formulated teas, had acupuncture treatments twice a week and started using Dr. Yeh’s Daily Essentials Vitamin and Liver and Eye Essentials, since Dr. Yeh has determined that my symptoms arise from imbalances in my liver, among other things.

Besides this, my blood pressure has also been lowered to more acceptable levels.

I hope that my good results will continue now that I no longer receive treatment. I imagine that I will get somewhat lax on the diet, but I now know what to do, if the symptoms should return. I would strongly recommend this treatment to other sufferers of Restless Legs Syndrome.

“Dr. Yeh’s treatments were the only ones successful.”

To Whom it May Concern,

For many years I was a sufferer of Restless Leg Syndrome. This caused me to have much pain and many sleepless nights.

On September 9, 1995, I started treatments at the Yeh Center of Natural Medicine, 195 North Second Avenue, Upland, CA. These consisted of Acupuncture and Herbal Tea. My condition soon began to improve. After three months of treatments had ended the symptoms were completely gone.

I had tried many different remedies, but Dr. Yeh’s treatments were the only ones successful. I am very appreciative.
